This policy explains what 0xb8 networks ("0xb8", "we") accesses and keeps when a client connects 0xb8 Integrations ("the app") to a QuickBooks Online company.
What the app can access
Once one of your administrators connects a QuickBooks Online company, the app can access that company's accounting data through Intuit's QuickBooks Online Accounting API.
We use only the data that the integrations we run for you need. That includes:
- company settings;
- customers;
- products and services;
- payment terms;
- invoices and their payment status.
This data can include your own customers' contact details, such as names, billing email addresses and postal addresses. We process those on your behalf, as your service provider.
What we store
- The connection credentials Intuit issues (OAuth tokens) and your company ID. The long-lived credential is encrypted at rest. Short-lived access tokens are held in memory only.
- Records of what the integration did. For example, which invoice in your ERP became which QuickBooks invoice, with its number, total and status. We also keep error logs.
- Working data the integration needs, such as the mapping between customers in your ERP and customers in QuickBooks.
We don't keep a general copy of your QuickBooks data.
How we use it
We use the data only to provide the services you've engaged 0xb8 for. We don't sell it or use it for advertising.
We share it only in two cases:
- with the infrastructure providers that host our systems (Amazon Web Services, in the United States);
- where the law requires us to.
Security
- All traffic to Intuit and between our systems is encrypted in transit (TLS).
- Stored data is encrypted at rest.
- Access is limited to the 0xb8 staff who operate your integrations.
Retention and deletion
- We keep the data above while you're connected and for as long as the services need it.
- When you disconnect, the credentials stop working and we delete them.
- We delete the other records within 90 days of the end of your services agreement, or sooner if you ask, unless the law requires us to keep them.
Your choices
You can disconnect at any time in QuickBooks (gear icon → Apps → My apps). To request a copy or deletion of the records we hold, email us.
